Both Matt and Cindy have had a passion for travel - even before they met each other. Since their marriage in 1993, they have been visiting fascinating places and exploring other cultures.

Matt did his graduate work in architecture and has
worked in the field for nearly 25 years. He enjoys both
ancient and modern architecture. Architects he admire include Imhotep (the world's first architect!) and Antonio Gaudi. Matt also has a passion for automobiles, and has visited factories such as Porsche in Germany and Ferrari in Italy. He has also "put the pedal to the metal" on the autobahn! His current record is 143 mph, which he intends to break very soon!

Cindy's interests are primarily spiritual. She is fascinated by the behaviors and spirituality of other cultures - ancient and modern, and is drawn toward anything surrounded by mystery. Cindy also has an interest in architecture, the automotive industry, jewelry design...and shopping everywhere!

Matt's ultimate vacation:
To drive a Porsche Carrera Turbo - not only on the autobahn and famous racetracks in Germany, but also drive the Formula 1 route in Monte Carlo.

Cindy's ultimate vacation:
Spend a week in a spa resort with daily activities such as meditation, yoga, massage, etc., while being served organic meals. (Oh, and sleeping as late as she wants to!)
